Known facts: Tholians are belived to be a silicon
based life form that can live under extreme heat
that no humanoid can survive.It is believed that the Tholian
Homeworld called Tholia II is the second planet of a six planet system.
A class C world composed of a dense, extreme high temperature
atmosphere is unable to support humanoid life without
the means of life support equipment. Attributed to Tholia II's
inhospitable environment, the Tholian star is theorized
to be a red giant only 15 million kilometers distant from the planet.
Tholians are believed to be non-genderd this confuses Federation cientists.
Tholian society, at times, has been compared to Borg society
in so far as they are both a hive culture and posses a hive mind.
