White Tower - The Sewer Exit

I enter the Tower as a visitor and hide in a storeroom in White Tower.
There I have plenty of time to study my instructions and plan my actions.

I have a Personnel Digital Assistant (PDA) with many functions.
There are descriptions of the different buildings on the Tower ground and of all the Crown Juwels that can be found in Waterloo Block.

Before I can get to the Juwels, I have to get rid of the guards. I also have to find the security systems and deactivate them.

There are no hints to where I can find these systems, but reasonably, they should be found in places, where visitors are not admitted. I can see that Old Hospital, Queens house och Deveraux are buildings of this kind.

My PDA also has a satellite system, GPS. I can use it to decide my position, when I am above ground. Unfortunately it can't be used in the sewers.

Looking at the GPS, I draw a plan of the Tower and write down the names of those buildings I already know. I'll fill in other names when I find them.
For the moment I can only place White Tower (where I hide), Waterloo Block (where the juwels are) and Traitors Gate (the gate in the Moat), where I shall meet the agents when my commission is completed.

In the storeroom where I hide there is a cupboard with some tins, bottles and a couple of cardboard boxes. In one of the boxes I find a yellow torch, a gas lighter and a tin with anti rust liquid, RW 40
I'll add them to my equipment, which at the moment only consists of a multi-tool (with two screwdrivers and a wire cutter), a card for code analysis and a packet of chewing gum.

I have better start looking for my equipment. But how can I get into the sewers?


I exit the storeroom and find a map, which needs a closer inspection. In the other room there is a circle that looks interesting.

I enter the room and immediately find a circular iron fence round some sort of well. The well is covered with a padlocked grid. I try to use my wire-cutter but it is too week. I have to find something better.

I search both rooms carefully. In the map room I eventually find a bolt cutter and a hammer in a yellow toolbox.

I cut the padlock with the bolt cutter, open the grid and climb down. Unfortunately I drop the bolt cutter and I can hear a splash when it hits the water far down.

It is totally black and I can't see a thing. I'm really thankful that the torch functions. I have to dive into the water and swim, but after a while I find myself in a pump room. I find nothing of interest there so I continue into the sewers but now I can walk and don't have to swim.
