Wolverine Island's kennel is situated in Hälsingland in the middle-north of Sweden.
At the moment we have six Malamutes and five siberian husky. They live mostly outside in large doghouses. In the evening we bring a few dogs inside at the time to associate with, because we find it important to have god contact with our dogs. All dogs are used for different kind of pulling. We train Nome (sledge) and Nordic ski's and we use a three wheeler in the off season. Anna-Karin is training obedience at the local club, Järvsö Brukshundklubb. The dogs we have had since they were puppies have all attended puppyclasses. It is useful for them to meet other breeds and we find they learn more quickly. We compete in sledgedograces preferably longer distances, 2x30 km, 50 km and more. During the last two years we have showed more and more.
