Well, what to say, I didn't like this very much. I liked some of the combat scenes, but other than that I find this a movie for younger people even if england rated it age 18+. Anyway, the half-star is for the notion of tentacle-sex which have brought much fun over the ideas of deamons way of dirty thinking ^_^.

First of; there are two versions of Urotsokidoji, the original Japanese cut and a shortened US cut. Please note that 'shortened' is a misnomer, raped by gigantic flying penises would be more appropriate. It was released by Penthouse and focused exclusively on the tentacle porn, of which much was omitted to suit the american public. Thus the original nine 1 hour episodes were transformed into three 50 minute episodes. Go figure.

Anyhow, the original is pretty fun to watch, at least if you like gigantic flying penises, small flying animals and small flying people turning into gigantic flying penises. There is even a memorable (!) scene of a demon (read a tangle of gigantic tentacle penises) taking over a hospital and squishing people.

As for the rest, Urotsokidoji is your typical budget Japanimation. Lots of people flying around screaming 'Yah', lots of static backgrounds and lots of gratitous sex and violence. At least it's got real sex and not just alusions thereof with underage teens as stars as other anime movies do.
