Tekken

Well, for a well-known concept is this a real good try. Quite ok actually, what to say?

Those Who Hunt Elves

Type: 12 episodes
Description:
A group of people from Earth are stranded in a fantasy world. The spell they need to get home has been transcribed on the skin of some unknown elven girl. So they hunt and undress elves. (No, it's not as bad as it sounds.)

I have no reason why, but I really liked this one. Must be its totally non-serious approach.

Transformers - The movie

Type: Movie
Description:
The autobots fight the deceptatrons that have conquered the homeplanet of the changeling robots and while they fight to recover the planet under the superior lead of Optimus Prime, a new threat surfaces. Unicron, the giant planeteating robot changeling pops out of nowhere and starts to chew on the planet. Can they save the planet before it's to late?

Treefinger's comments:
This movie is an endless battle accompanied by music (it's the soundtrack that earns this one it's high rating). If you haven't read the series as a child I don't think you can catch the nostalgia as I did and puke over it, as I almost did. All in all, you can live without this one.

Trigun

Type: 26 episodes
Description:
Vash the stampede is a notorious outlaw with $$60.000.000.000 on his head, but noone knows who he really is. Stomping western comedy! (that later turns into ordinary action with a story of colonists and energy beings living outside the time flow...)

Treefinger's comments:
[ep 1-4] Weeeeeha! Vash is my new hero. The first time you watch the episodes you think he is a real stupid womaniser, the second time you watch, you think in the lines "wait, did he really plan that?", the third time and onwards you just smile. This is not as weird as Dragon Half but it is close and the humour really suited me. Watch the cat =o]

[ep 5- ] The series get a lot different from here on, Vash begins to fire his gun more often and we get into some stories about his past. Not as good as ep 1-4 and it lowers the overall a bit. It turns out that it isn't earth and that Vash has an evil twin that sends badguys with weird powers (they're all mad too) out to get Vash. More emotions and some more cool action. Worthwhile to watch.
