I really liked this one, partly because it has a proper ending that many series lack. The guy is ok I guess (usual anime failed teenager character) and the three marionette (robots, but in a proper name for the era) girls suck up to him a'la Tenchi style.

They should have quit while they were on the winning side, this serie supplys us with the continuation to the ending that made Saber Marionette J a good serie. This (in my opinion) should never have been done.

Sakura Wars

I like the notion of steamdriven mechas not all that powerful, and they are really cool. The little girl is fun, but a bit small to be driving around in a mecha. the fun thing is that her special power is healing the others mechas and when she does, it becomes surrounded by circling teddy bears. ^_^

Serial Experiments - Lain

Lain doesn't have many friends and neither does she know much about computers. She doesn't even know if she has gotten mail from the dead girl who jumped off a bridge recently. So why does everybody think she's the same person as Lain, the world-famous hacker? Particularly, she would prefer if the spooky agents shadowing her would realize that she is not her. Of course, when hardware worth millions of yen gets delivered to her home, even she gets a few doubts.

Lain is not your regular anime. In fact, it has very little in common with traditional animated content from any part of the world. Rather, it carries the hallmarks of European art-movies. Lain steps out of her house every morning by opening a door in a white screen - walking down invisible steps - and walking through shadows of undulating red and purple. It is so surrealistic that the plot gets difficult to follow at times.

What is it about? I don't really know. How did it end? I'm not sure. Which scenes did actually take place? Probably most of them, but I can't really tell.

But is it good? I'm not sure. Watching it once was not really enough to help deciding this. On one hand it is invigorating to see something fundamentally different appear on the extremely commerically-oriented anime scene. On the other hand, I get the same feeling of confusion I experience when viewing uncompromising art-movies such as Pi. Sure, this is a strong personal vision - but what did it mean?

I have only seen the first three episodes, but oh was I impressed. This is martial arts anime taken to a new level. Street fighter kiss my ass!

The first thing that got to me in this serie is the soundtrack. It is awesome. Other than that the animation is great and the story is quite good too.

Silent Möbius Movie 1

A girl finds out that her mother and dad are great sorcerers and that she has to take up their legacy but she refuses to admit it and cries.

Far away from being as good as the series. Kind of disturbing with all the hysterical crying and refusing to admit that the deamons really exist and she can do something about it.

Silent Möbius Movie 2

Slayers (Series 1)

Love it or hate it - it's weird, it's wacky, it's Slayers. Fantasy-like story about Lina Inverse, a 16 year old sorceress.

An old space adventure with both action, cool characters and quite ok plot. I really like Cobras "Oh-yeah-I-can-do-that-with-a-smile" attitude.

Spriggan - The Movie

Three researchers find a large hull of something ancient on top of a mountain in Turkey, they call the huge structure for Noah's. Since the resemblance of the location to what the old testament says. The structure is made of undestructable material and a warning on it says that people shouldn't awake the old gods. A corporation of free researchers take it upon themselves to research and guard Noah's until they understand it. But the pentagon wants it anotherway...

This is what I call a great action anime. The animation is awesome and the soundtrack blends beautifully with the quite ok story. The hero Yu is a bit mysterious and there are NO wailing people around *happyhappyjoyjoy*. All in all, this is great action.

Street Fighter 2 V

Sword for Truth

Ninja action about a strong silent hero with a bloody past that get's hired to save a princess

ok. I tried to find a story in this one, I really did. But it's really hard when there's cutoff legs, heads and arms flying around every thirty seconds or so. This is bad ppl, almost as bad as ninja resurrection, but not quite. The only thing that makes this 1� is the fact that the hero never ever even get a scratch.
