I don't think I have ever been as confused as I watched this one, there is no 14 yr old
piloting those mechas! They run around by themselves! This is strictly non-anime and not
especially good either.

A bit of bland story mixed with not-that-worked-out characters, could have been fun if
they had exaggerated a bit more. (The girl with guns could have been even more zealous,
the nice cat girl could have been cuter, the girl at the computer could have been more
nervous etc.)

This and Akira competed to be the first anime that really woke the animeculture in
my surroundings. I'd prefer Akira though, something in this movie reminds me of
"Blade runner".

Unsolicited sex never gets to me. I found this movie quite uninteresting and the standard
joke when we saw it was "hmm, I need some information, lets have sex!". Golgo is cool though,
but this movie doesn't really sport anything worth seeing.

The first episode is great but then it turns into yet another
young-girl-pilots-great-mecha-while-crying. Quite enjoyable though,
spans over 50 years of time! The young girl doesnt age! Figure that out
all relativistic fans out there!

Description:
Five giant indestructible "hey-look-I-can-destroy-this-city-with-one-stomp" mechas from outer space lands on earth. They are rebels who want to oppose the evil corporation OZ that only wants war. Unlucky for them they don't know who the other four giant "hey- ... " mechas are.

Well, these mechas has some weaknesses and I like the characters stubborness. So it stands
a bit over standard mecha series just by the fact that the pilots too really are superhuman,
(even though they are only 14 yr old *sigh*). After I watched all the series I must say that
it's got some moments and it's quite worthwhile to watch. The ending is a bit bland though.

A soapopera of two and a half hours which reminded me A LOT of Robotech. It was boring, old,
boring and well yes boring. You can do quite a lot better with watching just one ep of
Robotech and get all that this movie is about. Robotech lovers will probably like this one though.

Young boy finds intelligent armor which begins to reside in his body and an evil corporation needs that armor.

Need I to point out the young boy's age? (He's 14! yeah!) The armor (suit?) is cool though and
not that large which is a good thing when it resides in his body. The bad guys are
suitable large and suitable viscious-looking. A suitable series for those not too
demanding about a suitable story.
