Treefinger's comments:
They say this is among the first series to use CG animation and it can be seen, the CG is not as good as Heavy Metal Fakk 2 or Titan AE, but it's not much CG and it's used way better than in the movies. The story is good with some twists and turns and it really made me wanting to lay my hands on the second season.

Card Captor Sakura - The movie

First half of this magical girl movie is giganto-cute. It is so well done cuteness that you go around just wondering how they did it. Well done animation, humour and the aaaawesome soundtrack make this movie really great. Watch it ppl.

Castle of Cagliostro - Lupin 3

Type: Movie
Description:
Master thief Arsene Lupin III, grandson of the classic french master thief with the same name, is a busy man. No sooner does he discover that the enormous pile of money he just stole is in fact fake, than he gets involved in a car chase -- naturally rescuing a damsel in distress. Before long he gets entangled in the plots of the evil duke.

There is a whole pile of Lupin III movies. This one is directed by Miyazaki Hayao and is generally considered the best.

Treefinger's comments:
What can I say, Miyazaki has a special place in my heart. His try at the Lupin movies is a masterpiece, and his try at humourous adventure action succeeds with a merit. This movie mixes humour, really fleshed out characters and amazing artwork to blow all Miyazaki lovers out there to pieces.

Quest's comments:
Miyazaki tries his hand at the whacky and hilaious. It is as steady and precise as always. This is intelligent comedy at its best -- noone can apply a cliché as the Master of Japanese animation. It also contains the coolest stunt ever performed on screen (watch closely after the gyrocopter crashes).

Perhaps its most striking display of Miazaki's talent is the fact that it contains an absolutely absurd mix of plot elements (samurais, anti-tank rifles, ancient riddles and infinite catacombs) without ever loosing even an ounce of the viewer's faith; characters, plot and plot devices dances in perfect harmony under the Master's hand.

First Chinese anime I've ever seen and my, this is epic ^_^. Romance, action and an unbelievable large structure flying around with no aid whatsoever! This movie reminded me of some movie, but I don't remember now anyhow ^_^.
