Anime is simply put cartoons for a broader public. If I say cartoons you'll probably say "disney", I don't anymore. Anime is so much more. There is anime for children, there is anime for teenagers, there is soap-opera anime, there is anime for grown-ups, there is anime for almost all tastes (I say almost, because there are some really weird people about nowadays). I like them all. (I said there were som really weird people about nowadays)

For a starters giant indestructible "hey-look-I-can-destroy-this-city-with-one-stomp" mechas are always piloted by 14 yr olds and small cute girls always eats excessive amounts of food in short time and spends the rest of the time looking for more food. If you see an animal it is probably small, has VERY large eyes and a cute voice. Heroines infrequently gets transferred to another world, meets a nice guy they fall in love with, and then cries a lot while all others in that world tell them they have to save that world.
