HOME!

My real name is Mattias Haglund. I am a 25 year old man living in Ferila, province of Helsingland, Sweden. My family are farmers, wich gave me the opportunity to grow up close to the earth. I live today with my fiancée Carola (a wonderful woman) and our two cats in a small but comfortable log house on our farm. My favourite animal has always been pigs.

My personal interests are, apart from Thor, books, history, old words (like "síðr"), writing and drawing, Star Trek, music, and a nice glass of beer now and then.

Thorfastur is the name i have chosen as worshipper of Thor. The name i especially fitting since fast means firm, permanent and steady. I have been interested in the norse tradition since 1992. I feel that the best way I can serve Thor today is to make him a homepage of his own. My greatest devotion is to gather knowledge about our Gods and our ancient culture.

I want to use the Internet as a means to learn and share from and with other people. I am not interested in nonsense chatting or futile discussions. I want to get somewhere! I want net pals who can enrich me by sharing their thoughts with me. Sharing and serving are two of the many good reasons we are born to this world.

In the future I hope to be able to teach younger relatives all the things I know about Thor and the other Gods. My dream is that what I start today will become a family tradition, carried on by our offspring.
