History

The short history of this club formally started around the kitchen table in the Holmstroems residence in Algutsrum, Sweden Nov 16:th, 1993. Before this meeting Michael Holmstroem had investigated if there was any interest in starting a bouleclub in the area. Eight enthusiasts/future enthusiasts were gathered this historic day and ever since the club has had around 25-30 member families per year, which sums up to approx 50-75 people. This club has never intended to be a part of the National Bouleclub Assosciation in Sweden, and although this fact may change in the future, we still focus on family activties and club events. Despite this we still would welcome a club exchange with other clubs around the world so if you're interested don't hesitate to get in touch with any of us in the board!!

We want to remind all members and future members and their guests to come and play boule throughout the whole season. If you need to borrow equipment contact any of the persons below. We also would like to urge all members to contact the board if you have any suggestions around activities you would like to see.

The board will try to find new forms of competitions for the next season, but our annual "Varkastet" and "Hostkastet" will of course also in the future be in the agenda.

Note!! New membership fee/family/year is from 1999 SEK 100 (USD 15)
