• Three rounds left and we don´t know how it will end. Hammarby, AIK, Helsingborg and perhaps Halmstad are fighting for the title. I think that AIK has the best chance of the four teams. It seems they have the best defense of the league, if they manage to score more goals they will win.
  
  
• Helsingborg fought bravely against Chelsea in the Cupwinners Cup and lost 0 - 1 on aggregate after a well performed but goalless match on their homeground. Since that game they have played with more physical strength and determination in the national league. This international experience was something good in the end for the team. Now the players have set their minds on winning Allsvenskan this year. After some unlucky results earlier this autumn their opponents are 3 points ahead. Helsingborg must win all the remaining games and has to rely on other teams to beat their opponents.

• Hammarby and Västra Frölunda are two teams that seem to hold on for a place at the top. Both are newcomers this year and I find it interesting that they both have performed well. Can any of them win the title? I don´t think so. AIK is probably a more likely candidate, as Anders Limpar has begun to show his football qualities again.
  
  
• A pleasant surprise is that Helsingborg is still going strong although there were some weeks of bad performance. There is a chance of winning the league this year... Now we´re waiting for more Norwegian goals by Arild Stavrum and company. He is at the top of the goalscorer league and Helsingborg has bought another goalscoring Norwegian. The upcoming match in Cupwinners Cup against Chelsea has made the fans of Helsingborg very excited.
  
  
• Some of the managers have been sacked. Örgryte is desperate for a win. Last time they won was on the 12th of May! Backman had to leave and Hamrén got the job but the song remains the same... In Malmö FF Frank Thijsen has been replaced by a troika of oldtime homeground players who will share the responsibility of avoiding an embarrasing outcome for this proud football club.

• The manager Torbjörn Nilsson - a star and a goalscorer for IFK Göteborg in the eighties, has made a success of the small club of Frölunda. A pleasant surprise which makes the future of Allsvenskan more interesting. I hope the amount of supporters of this small club will grow.
  
  
• The defensive qualities of Helsingborg are excellent. Now we´re waiting for more goals. If they start to score I´ll be optimistic on the outcome of the league this year. Helsingborg has already won the Swedish Cup by the way. The club is playing in the Cupwinner Cup this autumn.
  
  
• The failure of the richest club in Sweden is embarrasing. IFK Göteborg has bought some of the best young players in Sweden to cover the loss of players like Blomqvist (Parma), Andersson (Newcastle) and Ravelli (Tampa). They get results like 0 - 4 because they feel too strong pressure trying to be number one in the country. Let´s see what the future brings...
