THE HISTORY

Stardog was formed back in 1991 in Skellefteå by the same line-up that makes up Stardog today. During the first year they had five different names, but at last they settled for Stardog, taken from the Mother Love Bone-song Stardog Champion. One journalist from Växjö thought that they had chosen the name, because it's Godrats spelled backwards. So far they have released three albums, and their main influnces are AC/DC, The Cult, Soundgarden and Monster Magnets.
