Gene Kelly

Gene Kelly was born 1912 in Pittsburgh, U.S.A. He had a major breakthrough 1942 in "For me and my gal", he played against Judy Garland. Then he became one of Hollywoods greatest stars, but not just any star. Except actor, he was also a director,dancer and choreographer.

His best known movie is "Singin in the rain" from 1952. Other major movies of his is "An american in Paris and "On the town".

He died on Feb. 2, 1996.
