For those who haven't read Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings can I just say one thing - do it! It's one of the few (maybe the only one)
really classic Fantasy series, which everyone have heard of. It contents the most detailed and complex world that has ever been written
and it is terribly good! Read it!
For you who don't know this is it a trilogi which in short is about a hobbit (small creature with heary feet, exists
as far as I know only in Tolkien's world)
whose name is Frodo. Along with a chosen group does he fight to destroy the Ring of Evil, The Lord of the Rings.
If they fail, the Ring will fall into the hands of the evil wizard Sauron and then the world will be doomed!
There is no other Fantasy book (as far as I have read) which can even be compared to the master Tolkien's Ring trilogi. It's somhow much more believable than
anything else. Maybe it's because the story is so totally inside it's world. Even with all the adventures it feels all natural in a worls like this one.
And it doesn't end with an "and they lived happily ever after" and that's very good.
