The World Federalist Association of Sweden (SVF) is the Swedish member organisation of the World Federalist Movement (WFM), an international organisation which has since 1947 worked for a reformed and democratic United Nations and a strengthed global rule of law. SVF want to discuss the opportunities for federalism on a regional, national and global level. SVF is a member organisation of the Swedish United Nations Association. Members receive our magazine "Världen och Vi" (4 numbers annually) and a newsletter. Member fee, 200 SKR/year, can be paid to Swedish postal giro account nr: 5 55 50-8. 

We want the UN to be 

• more democratic, to better represent the peoples of the world 
• more effecient, to be able to protect the people from global danger to their security, and 
• promoting a global rule of law. 

Members of the board

The board is elected every year by SVF:s annual congress. The board is the executive branch of SVF. The members of the board are: Martin Hagvall (chairman), Tommy Nilsson (vice chairman), Karl af Geijerstam (secretary), Ragnar Bremle, Patrik Nilsson and Lars Olsson.
