A beautiful woman lays in a bed in an Moroccan hospital, when the camera gets closer we can see it´s the supposedly dead Taylor.
The Crown Prince of Morocco, Prince Omar is infatuated with the beautiful lady. Nobody knows who she is. He calls her Beth. Just when the doctor is about to put her out of life-support she wakes up. She has no recognition of who she is.
Prince Omar takes her to the palace and promises to find out who she is. He falls in love with her, her beauty and gentle spirit. When his private detective tells him that he has discovered the truth about Beth. He urges him not to tell her. He says that the fact that her husband is going to marry someone else so soon after her death is going to devastate her. So he keeps the truth from her. He also wants her to fall in love with him instead.
Taylor realizes the privilege of a life as a princess but it isn´t until she befriends a orphanage girl and becomes the protege of the orphanage she fells at home.
Taylor decides to take a stroll through the palace. She enters the parlor and notices a file folder on the table marked "Taylor Forrester: Secret and Confidential". She can´t resist opening the file. Taylor is so angry that she wants to escape out of the balcony but the grillwork on the window acts like prison gates.
Taylor tells Ahmed that now that she knows the truth she wants out but she needs his help in obtaining a passport. She tries to call Ridge, Mike answers and tells her that Ridge´s wife is dead. Ahmed shows up with a passport and an airline ticket. He tells her that a car is waiting but Taylor insist to call Ridge first. Taylor discovers that the phoneline has been cut. They dart out the door to find Prince Omar standing there. He cut the phoneline and wants to where Taylor is going. Taylor asks Omar why is has lied to her. He tells her that he will not lose her and orders his guards to lock Taylor in her room.
Omar orders Moustafa to fly to LA to witness the wedding ceremony between Ridge and Brooke.
As the minister reads the vows to Ridge and Brooke, Moustafa watches from the shadows. Ahmed urges Prince Omar to do what he can to stop the wedding. He agrees and reaches for the phone just as Moustafa calls and with the news that the wedding is over.
Omar hears about Ridge and Brooke´s honeymoon plans and orders Moustafa to fly to the Canery Islands. After that he tells Taylor that her grieving husband married Brooke Logan and shows her pictures from the wedding. Taylor blames Omar for destroying her life.
Moustafa and his men has taken over the yacht where Ridge and Brooke will be spending their honeymoon.
The Prince sends the newlyweds a gift and an invitation to the palace.
Omar wants Taylor to attend a dinner party then she can leave the palace if she still wants, Taylor agree. He leads her into a small room and tells her to sit tight while he goes off to greet their guests. Inside the room a curtain opens up, revealing a one-way window. Taylor is stunned when she sees Ridge and Brooke.
She pounds on the window in a desperate attempt to get Ridge´s attention. Suddenly Taylor can hear the conversation at the table. She hear them talk about being in love for many years but circumstances has kept them apart. Omar enters the room and Taylor tells him that Ridge would welcome her back if he knew that she was alive.
Taylor sneaks into Ridge´s room but just as she is about to say something, a guard comes up from behind and drags her into the corridor. Ridge hears the commotion and asks what is going on. Omar explains that they have been having trouble with one of the servants.
Ridge picks up a piece of fabric from Taylor´s dress he reacts to the smell of it and tells Brooke that the scent is familiar.
