Omar asks Ridge at dinner the next day what he would say to Taylor if he could meet her one more time. Taylor listens from the secret room.
- I would thank her for touching my life and making me a better person.
Taylor is satisfied with the answer.
Ridge wonders why Omar is so fascinated with Taylor´s death. And the prince explains that he once lost a woman he loved very much. He tells Ridge that now he has met a beautiful woman but she´s in love with someone else. Ridge tells the prince that it took several years for him and Brooke to get together but it was worth the wait. Taylor is devastated.
Omar tells Taylor that Ridge and Brooke is leaving. Taylor begs him to let her go with them, but the prince refuses.
Ridge and Brooke are ready to leave when Taylor enters the room wearing a veil. As Omar watches in stunned silence, Taylor genuflects to one knee and brings Ridge´s hand to kiss it. She then asks Brooke to take good care of her husband.
Taylor tells the prince that she will marry him, but because her heart belongs to another, she can´t share his bed. Omar tells her he will marry her no matter what the terms.
When Taylor finds out about her fathers heartattack she escapes from the palace.
