During September - October 1999 we accomplished one of Sweden's most exciting expeditions. We crossed the Sahara with an old Peugeot 504 - through extreme heat and sand dunes.
The Sahara route went through Morocco, Mauritania and down to Senegal.
The team "Trans Sahara 1999" consisted of four adventurers, with several previous trips to Africa, among others Algeria (348 K), South Africa and the Kalahari desert.
The team members;
Jan Sundstrom, journalist and photographer. Has visited 45 countries, the sixth trip to Africa.
