Rabbit is from Baytown, Texas (just like Snuffy) and he`s been a friend of Snuffy ever since the the 60`s,
they used to play together then.
He plays piano & organ on the Stray dog song:
"The Journey".
When Rabbit released his solo album "Broken arrows" & "Dark saloon" Snuffy
was one of the lead guitarists on the albums.

"Broken arrows" 1973
Album: "Broken arrows" (1973)

"Broken arrows" the title track is a great song and Snuffy is
playing fantastic lead guitar on this one I think.

"Blues my guitar"
I love this song!
Jim Capaldi plays drums and Snuffy really blues his guitar
on this one.

"Dark saloon" 1974
Album: "Dark saloon" (1974)

"Devil run", In my opinion this could be a Stray dog track but it`s
written by Rabbit of course. Al and Snuffy is playing on this one.
When I listen to it I get the feeling that the three of them has created this
song by jammin`, but that`s my feeling.
The song is heavy and groovy, great horns!
Snuffy is also playing lead on
"Cheat on me"
and the great instrumental number "Hall of love".

As I`m a swede it`s very interesting for me when Rabbit tells me about his time in Sweden.
He lived in Nockeby outside of Stockholm 1970-71.
During that time he played a lot in sweden and with swedish musicians,
specially
Janne Schaffer.
Rabbit also played and worked with Johnny Nash, Bernt Staaf,
ABBA (before they were called ABBA, the "Ring-ring" time), Ola Brunkert...
He recorded sountrack w. Johhny Nash for a Christina Schollin movie.
Down below you can view exclusive pics and cuttings from papers that Rabbit sent me.
Thanks John!
