Sweet Pain first played together in 1988 ,and at that time mostly covers. When more and more original material started coming ,we decided torelease a CD.,"Do the Pikehead" (1996, Siljum, TheVSOP Label). As most of the members have other bands or are soloartists we don´tget to many chances to get together. To book Sweet Pain or to get more information you can e-mail Pelle Piano.

You can listen to Sweet Pain on the Vivo Video page. Two songs are featured."It must have been something I ate and "Just a little bit".The last one is a duet with Sven Zetterberg and Paris Klingberg.More songs will come soon.

This is the one and only Eric Bibb, singer and guitarplayer extraordinaire who has blessed many of Sweet Pain songs with his soulful voice. He has made 2 soloalbums for Opus 3 and is releasing his third album, produced by the legendary Mike Vernon, in September.

The incomparable Sven Zetterberg. His harmonica and guitar has played behind the legends, from Sunnyland Slim to Louisiana Red. He played with the great Chicago Express for many years but now he combines a duo gig with bassplayer Mikael Fahleryd with other projects like Sweet Pain.Sven shares the lead vocals with Eric.

Max Schultz handles rythm and lead guitar on his trusty old Telecaster. He has made two soloalbums in a more jazzy context. You can read more about Max on his own page.Click the picture.
