Notes: The first Guns N' Roses show in over seven years. The first live performances of "Oh My God", "Chinese Democracy", "The Blues", "Rhiad" and "Silk Worms". Axl talked about writing "Chinese Democracy" after seing the movie "Kundun". It was also the first show with the new lineup consisting of Axl on vocals, Dizzy Reed on keyboards, Tommy Stinson on bass, Robin Finck on lead guitar, Paul Tobias on rhythm guitar, Buckethead on lead guitar and Brain on drums. A second keyboard player, Chris Pittman, also played is a touring member-only. Buckethead's performance art consisted of him spinning nunchakas. The band had only started rehearsing the Thursday before the show (Dec 28, 2000).

Notes: GN'R returns to Rio De Janeiro for the third Rock In Rio festival. The video used as intro to the Vegas show was also shown before this show. Axl has a fan thrown out during "It's So Easy". "Sossego", which is a cover, was introduced in Portugeese by Robin Finck. This was the first live performance of "Madagascar". Axl dedicates it to the Brazilian fans. Before "Silk Worms", he says that it was written by Dizzy and Chris Pitman. Axl had an interpreter on stage throughout the entire show. After "Paradise City" Axl thanks her for taking care of him and the band the previous years.

Notes: GN'R's second Las Vegas show of 2001 (as the one on New Years Eve 2000 started late. There were some sound problems throughout the show, which led the band to walk offstage after "Oh My God". They came back pretty soon, though. Buckethead's first solo included parts of "Pirates Of The Caribbean", the American national anthem, "Big Sur Moon" and the Star Wars Theme. He did an acoustic and a version of Van Halen's "Eruption". "Nightrain" was originally on the setlist but got dumped for some unknown reason. Before "November Rain" Axl talked a long time about what's been happening during this year, the cancelled European tour (Axl said he found out about the tour on the Internet (!)), the delays of the album and said that this was the first show in 10 years he had asked to do. He also complained about former member using the band's celebrity status for themselves.
