Notes: This is one of the most infamous and weirdest GN'R shows. The set starts out acoustic, with one of two known performances of "One In A Million". This was also the only known performance of "Cornchucker" (a Duff song). After "Don't Cry" the band takes a break, only to return soon for an electric set. A jam on "Patience" is started after "It's So Easy". Axl then left the stage (angry because GN'R shouldn't have played the electric set). He does return for short moments later during the instrumental jam to sing parts of "Whole Lotta Rosie" and "Born To Be Wild". Then the intro to "Rocket Queen" was played, but they stopped after that. A roadie then took the mike and GN'R did "You Shook Me" (by Willie Nelson) and "Rock And Roll" (by Led Zeppelin), without Axl. Apparantely there were some misunderstandings, because when the roadie started singing "Rock And Roll", the band actually started playing "Living Loving Maid (She's Just A Woman)" by Led Zeppelin. They managed through the song, though. And Axl came in to do some backup vocals.

Notes: Axl was late to this show due to him having doctors working on his voice. Something had happened during the recent show in Switzerland. The crowd on this show are chanting a lot and Axl says that they were louder than 140.000 Brazilians on "...Heaven's Door". The Dutch police threatened to cut the power if the show ran too long, so Axl told the crowd that they could do "what the fuck they wanted" if that happened. Probably in fear of a riot, the police let the band play the show.

Notes: The first Guns N' Roses show in over seven years. The first live performances of "Oh My God", "Chinese Democracy", "The Blues", "Rhiad" and "Silk Worms". Axl talked about writing "Chinese Democracy" after seing the movie "Kundun". It was also the first show with the new lineup consisting of Axl on vocals, Dizzy Reed on keyboards, Tommy Stinson on bass, Robin Finck on lead guitar, Paul Tobias on rhythm guitar, Buckethead on lead guitar and Brain on drums. A second keyboard player, Chris Pittman, also played is a touring member-only. Buckethead's performance art consisted of him spinning nunchakas. The band had only started rehearsing the Thursday before the show (Dec 28, 2000).

Notes: GN'R returns to Rio De Janeiro for the third Rock In Rio festival. The video used as intro to the Vegas show was also shown before this show. Axl has a fan thrown out during "It's So Easy". "Sossego", which is a cover, was introduced in Portugeese by Robin Finck. This was the first live performance of "Madagascar". Axl dedicates it to the Brazilian fans. Before "Silk Worms", he says that it was written by Dizzy and Chris Pitman. Axl had an interpreter on stage throughout the entire show. After "Paradise City" Axl thanks her for taking care of him and the band the previous years.
