Fox Gathering 2000 - September 8, 9 and 10

There has been a healthy response from Foxes and Fox descendants who areinterested in attending the September gathering, with people coming fromthe US, Canada, New Zealand and Australia as well as Ireland itself. FoxClan Convenor MJ Fox will be traveling to Ireland in ealry May to finalizeplans for the September gathering. The final schedule will be entered ontothe website by mid-May. FOX CLAN GATHERING 2000
There are tentative plans being made for a Fox Clan gathering in September 2000 in County Offaly, somewhere in the Tullamore area. It will most likely be 3 days long! Ideas being considered are organized visits to the various Fox sites, including Durrow, an afternoon of finding kith and kin by comparing each others' family lines, a visit to Clonmacnoise, and of course Irish food and music. The September date has to do with lower travel rates, making it perhaps more financially possible for some, as the summer rates are very high. This also applies to lodging, though efforts will be made to see if discounts for the gathering are possible.
