Click on these links to listen to recordings, submit entries,
or find out more about the contests. Entries will be accepted from July
through February, 1998 (dates tentative.) The contest is a cooperative
effort of Erik Satie web sites in Australia, Canada, Sweden and the U.S.
It wouldn't be much of a contest without some prizes,
would it? We got some.
If you have questions related to audio file formats, recording, or need
a place to keep your audio file, please contact Gary,
our MIDImeister. Here's some suggestions for MPEG-3
players and other audio listening software.
The Exhibition is not a contest, it's a chance to listen to some interesting samples of
Perhaps you have more
suggestions.
Some of the interesting samples are highlighted in GREEN.
The highlights will move from time to time
to give attention to other deserving recordings.
The samples with file sizes shown must be completely downloaded before
listening; you should download your next selection(s) while listening.
The samples marked "stream" play almost immediately, but they
take your modem's full attention, so don't try to download other samples
while listening to a stream.
