MUM

Well to make a wery long and out of place story short... I have a blood disease that makes my blood thick when I'm pregnant! So to give the baby a chance to live, I had to take injections of medicine morning and night to help my blood from not clotting.. This disease gave me a severe pre-eclampsia, or toxemia as it sometimes is called.

That is why my little star is born a preemie..

I've been home on parental leave with Samuel since we left the hospital but now my leave is over... After being home for almost 2 years it feels strange to go and look for work....

I would have liked to have been home with Samuel longer but I will not complain I'm fortunate to have been able to stay home as long as I have and still get paid parental leave...(about 80% of the salary)

But you can read more about me on my site... You'll find it under Links.

DAD

Samuels Dad is the best dad you can have...He spent most of his time at the hospital with Samuel and mum. He only missed 5 days and then he had to work... We are fortunate to live in Sweden now that we had a preemie.. We could  be with Samuel every day in the NICU.... 300 km from where we live...And get delayed parental leave due to the fact that Samuel was in the hospital...Samuels dad has 2 months of parental leave left until the day he turns 8 years old....(paid parental leave) Not to bad...for a little country
