Sequential bar coding.
Using the Digit Counter you will be able to make sequential bar code digits and have them added to the barcode list and/or the barcode list in the batch window or have them added to the batch print list in one go. All you have to fill in is the start, stop and step, you will also be able to have the leading zeros added. For the Code 39 you will be able to have characters supported by Code 39 added.
I have made a sequential Code 39, please look at the image above.
In Product/Item Text I have filled in MyProduct, it will be added to all the bar code in the sequence.
I have not filled in anything in the Text Input. The Code 39 supports upper case letters. CodaBar and Code 2 of 5 Interl. doesn't support letters.
In Digits I have filled in 001 as Start and 100 as End, so the Code 39 will be 1 to 100, a total of 101 bar codes.
Step have been set to 1 so we will get all of the 101 bar codes, if I only wanted odd digits for the bar code, I could have filled in 2 i Step and we would have got 001, 003, 005 and so on. Copies is the number of copies that I would have liked to print, if I had checked the Add to Batch to Run (*.BT2)
Keep leading Zeros (i.e. 00001), when checked, as in the picture above all bar code digits added will keep the zeros, so a 1 will be 001, it's important that you fill in the leading zeros for the Start, in this case 001.
Add to, here you can check the where to add the sequence. I have selected Add to Barcode List (*.bk2) and also Add to Loaded BK2 file in Batch. If you want to add it to the Batch to Run the, please check the Add to Batch to Run (*.BT2) and don't forget the Copies in Digits.
Digit Counter supports the following barcode formats Code 39, Code 2 of 5 Interleaved and Coda bar.
