![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() You really have alot of different shoes and boots that you can wear and look good in. First and maybe most classic are the Dr Martens boots or shoes, no one can argue with you that you look silly in them. Ofcourse that is if you wear black or oxblood 8-10 holes or low shoes, I've seen some really nasty examples with purple flames and stuff, try to avoid them... Some guys like to argue which looks the best, with or without steelcap. Its up to you to choose, but I do prefer steelcap. Just make sure to keep them clean and polished so you dont look like a punk! :) My personal favourite shoes are my capone shoes, looks good to everything. May it be with rolled up jeans or a suit. There are a few different styles some plain black and white, and some black with black/white checkes on them. I've got a friend that think my capone shoes are one of the ugliest things he's ever seen, but thats what I would say about his bomber jacket! If you like some variation I suggest you have a look at some creepers, they might look really good. Just try to avoid those with the fluffy lephard skin, leave them for the pshycos... I've seen some really nice black and white, black and white checked and just plain white. Though you should keep in mind that white leather can be a pain to keep clean and good looking if you use the shoes alot... Almost forgot about brogues and loafers. Brogues look really smart if you are looking for some more "normal" shoes, these are also avaliable with stealcaps. Loafers aint really my cup of tea, but sure I've seen some that look good but i dont think I'll end up buying any. Lets leave them for the skin and rudegirls, they look great in them. If you dont feel like spending alot of money on shoes and got some time on your hands look throu some 2nd hand stores, cause you can find some really nice shoes there. Say some cool looking boots or shoes and you just add white laces or something, could be as cheap and easy as that! Thou you might have to use some shoepolish ;) |

So, now you might have an idea about what kinda shoes you would like and now you just need some good looking clothes to go with them. Your clothes just as shoes really depends on what you like, when you are going to wear it and how much you want to spend on it. Some people might think that have to wear a suit every day all week to call yourself a Rudie, but that would be really fucking stupid unless you are a brat and your dad gives you whatever you want! A plain black or darkgrey suit with a white shirt and a thin black tie looks great, but a suit is expensive so save it for the ska clubs or partys you know you can wear it at without it getting ruined. There are loots of things you can wear and look really good and keep the style. When I go out I usually just wear black pants, a white shirt, black tie and a pair och thin black braces. Its rather simple but still looks good, and if you get bored with the traditional black/white style try a Fred Perry piké or Ben Sherman shirt. Dont have to be a Ben or Fred but both looks good, and are classic. As long as you keep your eyes open you might be lucky to find something really cheap :) If you want to dress simple, then take a look at you local 2nd hand store. Buy a suit jacket and add a few pins on the collar and a hat, it will look great over a ska t-shirt. Soon its summer and it might get a bit hot to wear a shirt and braces, I usually just wear shorts, a shortsleeve shirt or a t-shirt with some band name on it. A jacket is a must too, the one I usually wear is really full of ska patches and pins. Just the way I like it, can there be too many ? :) When I work or feel like maybe I should dress a bit more discreet I wear a black Harrington (also a classic) with just a "Rudeboy" patch and a few pins. In the autumn or winter when it can be really cold I prefer a crombie or something similar with just a few white pins and a white scarf to go with it. |
