Increase the current from three pin stabs to 2A.

This circuit let the current flow through an added transistor, while the stab always keep the outout voltage at the right level. Other transistors than suggested would do fine. But remember: It's important to lead the heat from the transistor away. The heat sink should have a heat resistance of 5 K/W or less.
