Here are some effects for guitar, bass and related instruments. There are commercial and "home-brewed" or modifyed commercial effects. The schematics are drawn in Electronics Workbench and appear as gif images.

I'm awake again, and here you will be led to my new index page!

The RME-5 effects pedal. Two distortion channels with two distortion circuits each (rhythm and lead) plus a phaser on board, I made the phaser sound miraculously perfect!. It was originally built to a friend in 96-97. Go here! to find the schematics

RME means Robin's Multi Effect. Previously I have made
RE-31 (Three effects, number one), with an Craig Anderton Compressor, a Fuzz Face and a Lead Fuzz (schematics on Stellan Lehrbergs site). I often used it when I began playing guitar in a group (with S. Lehrberg among others). It gave me many variations of sounds. Nowadays I use it for bass. The Fuzz Face gives an amazing fat and powerful grunge to the bass sound. You can set it to clip only on peaks, and you can vary your sound with the touch of the strings!
RME-10, a big box with several effects and preamps. I like to give the buildings individual names.

A picture of RME-10:

I have now added links to some of the schematics in RME-10.
The effects from left to right: Craig Anderton's Compressor, Carlsbro overdrive (my mods to a Carlsbro preamp), Ibanez Fat Cat distortion, Tremolo by Stellan Lehrberg, DOD Noise gate, Bi-phaser, Mic preamp (now removed), Guitar preamp with overdrive (germanium diodes), Parametric EQ.
