The ranges are from top to bottom of the switch:
- 1uF...10uF
- 0.1uF...1uF
- 10nF...0.1uF
- 1nF...10nF
The four trim pots are now adjusted on known capacitors (or caps with very good tolerance). The quality of this meter depends on how well you trim it and how good reference capacitors you use.
1uF...10uF range: use 4.7uF tantalium
0.1uF...1uF range: use 0.47uF polyester
10nF...0.1uF range: use 47nF polyester
1nF...10nF range: use 4.7nF polystyrene
All these testings are being trimmed to 4.7 on the meter. (max scale is 10.)
