About me

I guess you have already figured out where I'm from, but if geography isn't your thing the dot is just south of Stockholm in Sweden. At the moment, though, I'm living in a small village on Gotland, which is a big Swedish island in the Baltic sea. Actually the dot is covering Gotland too when at full size in the animation.

My interest for graphics has grown from when I was very little. I used to draw and paint a lot but when I got into computers I moved on to making graphical stuff in a more digital form. But it wasn't until around Christmas 2002 that I started 3D modeling. Before that I have made various 2D stuff like custom CD covers and car skins for TOCA2 and Grand Prix 3 to mention two out of all games.

I'm studying something called "game development and interactive media" (if you translate it from Swedish) at the small Gotland University. It is a 3 year education hopefully making me a game designer or at least something within the computer game industry in 2007 when I'm finished. Personally I have chosen to put most of the time for graphics, both 2D and 3D, but I also get to learn basically a little of everything needed to make a game.

I have always been interested in cars, especially rally cars. When I was little I guess my parents could find 100's of the little 4-wheeled toys all over the house after I finally fell asleep, hehe. My dad used to rally in the early 80's so he's interest in the sport led to him and I going to watch a few rallies every year, something we still do once in a while.

Today I'm a big WRC fan. It was around 97-98 or something that I really started following the championship and now I can't miss any of it on TV and I check the web for news almost every day. Favorite driver has been Colin McRae but as he is no longer in the WRC I guess I have to say Markko Märtin. I also like Marcus Grönholm, but maybe that just because he can speak Swedish...? Of course I would like to see a Swede in the top level. At the moment Daniel Carlsson and 2004 Junior World Champion Per-Gunar Andersson are the best so keep an eye on these guys in the future, they will be there!
