The digital audio extraction to AIFF files is done with Adaptec Audio Extractor (audio-resynching enabled) and Lacie Yamaha 4416S or Teac 8/8/24 Firewire. The CDRs are burned with Adaptec JAM (Disc-at-once of course). I burn the CDRs at 4X or 8X speed unless otherwise agreed upon.
FM-radio broadcasts are recorded Direct-to-Disk with Peak for Macintosh. The conversion from analog to digital is done with M-Audio's Delta Audiophile 2496. These recordings are marked with "DFM M" on my list.
Similarly, TV broadcasts are recorded Direct-to-Disk with Peak for Macintosh.
For audience recordings: Sound Professional BMC6-mics (AT803b, omni-directional), Sound Pro batterybox and Nomad Jukebox 3. These recordings are marked with "DAUD M" on my list. (A list of master recordings here).
I keep the editing in minimum, in that I only remove (gently) DJ voices and other interruptions. I use VST UltraMaximizer L1 to raise the levels.
