Important information about the "Patch"

Attractor man have found out that some games can't be solved without a "Patch".
Some players have downloaded the "Patch for Win 95" from Rubiks Playgroundpage.
Please DO NOT do that ! ! !
If you have downloaded it, your game will not act like it's ment to do.
For instans "Mit" who has created the game Magnets
(Here is how you download this game from this page.)
has obvious the patch installed, which means

that the game is impossible to solve without the "Patch".

And that could also mean that it's not possible to solve a game created without the "Patch", if you have the "Patch" installed on your computer.

Therefore it's best for all players if no one has this "Patch" installed.

To fix the problem I have now found out that you have to change only one file in the folder
"C:\Program\Hasbro Interactive\Rubik's Games".

If you download this file (418 Kb)

and replace your file with the same name in that folder (the "wrong one" should be 436 Kb big), then you have "cleaned up" your computer from the "Patch".

I have tested it, and it worked for me.
