The new headlining was of course not sewn in the same way as the original. The headlining is held in place by U-shaped tubes where the legs of the U are screwed to the inside of the door openings. The original headlining had sections which were straight, where as the replacement sections were narrower at the sides. This was probably done to shape it to the form of the roof, instead it made the installation much harder. The end result was OK though. |
