Will be 57 on the 8th of October 2001, and I have been fishing for pike since I was 7yrs old.

I started flyfishing
for pike about 1965 while I was in the RCAF stationed in Alsask,Saskatchewan.

In those days the
materials were not anywhere as good as what we have today. My first pike rod was a fibre glass
Fenwick 10 wt Steelhead rod .. It was a very tuff rod and threw big flies well.

After I got out of the
Airforce I lived in Alberta and British Columbia , where I continued to experiment in making flies for
pike and learning to perfect how to catch them..LOL It seems when I just think I've figured them out they
change the rules on me..LOL

I now live in Kamloops British Columbia . The only problem is there are no pike with in a 6-8hr drive from here......
So Every June I go on my annual Pike hunt to Watson Lake in the Yukon Territoies, for a two week hunt.
This has become my most favorite time as you can see by my picture  the size of the pike are
just awsome and they are plentiful so it makes for and incredible holiday.

Please do visit my Pikeflyfishing site
