Series.
Plot summary
This is the story of Tenar, a young girl
who is brought up to become a priestess. She is told she is "the
Eaten One", and she lives as guardian of the tombs of Atuan, in
worship of the Nameless Ones. Then Ged arrives. He comes to the
tombs in search of the ring of Erreth-Akbe, but is captured. When
Ged starts telling Tenar about the rest
of the world, she begins to see that the world has more options,
and more than one way of viewing the world...
