Who am I ?

Well, that's a question that maybe is better answered by others. But I will supply you with some facts anyway.

My name is, as you probably have noticed already, Per Kruuse, but my freinds usually calls me Pelle. ( a much used nickname in Sweden ). I live in a place named Haverdal, not very far from the city of Halmstad on the westcoast of Sweden.

I was born in -47 so I have been around a while, and I have also played around with computers for some time now .

My first computer was a Sinclair ZX-81, which I bought in 1982. A year or two later came Sinclair Spectrum, a colour computer, that could be upgraded to 48kb ram. My next computer was an Amiga 500, this was of course a giant leap for mankind. When the Amiga 1200 came, I was one of the first to get one of those extreme machines. I had to get a real monitor, the old TV was a little blurry. I also got my first harddisk, 120 Mb and upgraded the memory to 8 Mb. With programs like DeluxPaint IV, Real 3D and Vista Pro, it was possible to do almost anything. ( and I did ! )

But, the PC-age closed up on me, finally I had to try to master the secrets of Windows, I now run an AMD XP2000+ , with 512 Mb ram and 80 Gb HD. I have had the PC for some years now, but I still think the Amiga operating system is better. ( or more userfreindly anyway ) I still have the Amiga 1200, so I can use it when I want some real fun ! I also have the Sinclair-computers laying around - you never know...

This was going to be about me, but it was maybe more about computers, so, now you know about one of my hobbies anyway.

I have always had an interest in engines, cars and other motordriven vehicles. To take a trip on my motorbike a warm nice summers evening is fun.
