Western Australia - Albany

Albany is a small, pretty town established first in 1826. It was the first place in Western Australia that was established as a town by Europeans, only a few years earlier than Perth. There are many old buildings to watch here.

Albany is also offering a fantastic coastline featuring The Blowholes, The Natural Bridge and The Gap among many other things. A very windy day at the gap and you will see something special, but even a calm day will show you some interesting things. The Natural Bridge is one of natures wonders and blowholes are always appreciated.

Whales can be spotted here while they are migrating up north and back down south again. If you are lucky, you can see a playful whale in the ocean.
Albany has one of the worlds largest whale museums.

Mount Clarence and Mount Melville, one of each side of Albany, both have lookouts offering 360 degree views of the town.
