Universitetet (The University)

The university as such was built during the 16th century

with the aim to make good, law abiding Swedish subjects of the Danish citizens. The university as it is today was finished in the 19th century.

On the left hand side a red brick buildning can be seen: the King's House,

once the residence of the Swedish king, when in Lund.
