The
island Blå Jungfrun (the Blue Virgin) is located
about 10 nautical miles outside Oskarshamn. This
island is bigger and higher than the surrounding
islands. It is known for its mysterious appearance
and atmosphere and the myth tells that witches fly
here to celebrate Easter. Boats take visitors to the
island during summer.
