McCartney

Is one of the albums I really like, although there is lots of material I don't listen to very often. The reason for me liking it, I think, is that it's so unpretentious. Acoustic, short songs, with endearing vocals. What's not to like?

Excellent:
Junk - I just love this song, mainly because of Paul's vocals. It's a very endearing song.
Maybe I'm amazed - is of course one of McCartney's best songs ever. Powerful singing and great playing.
Man we was lonely - is just a song that I love. I like how he and Linda trade vocals on the bridge.

Very good:
Valentine day
Hot as sun/Glasses
Momma Miss America - Paul really knows how to make interesting instrumentals. These 3 all have something that make them stand out, be it guitar work or bass playing.

Okay:
Every night - it seems many people think this is one of the best songs of the album. I don't agree, although it's hard for me to explain why. It just doesn't click with me. Probably because it's too repetitive.
Oo you - mainly because of the guitar work. The lyrics are not very interesting, to say the least.
The lovely Linda - a nice little song, but its shortness makes it hard to review.

Uninteresting:
That would be something - never seems to get anywhere.
Teddy boy - the silly lyrics drag this one down.

Boring:
Singalong junk - an instrumental version isn't really necessary.
Kreen-akrore - boring, boring. Doesn't really seem like a song, more like a one-man jam session.
