Christian Henriksson
OK, this is me:
I'm Christian Henriksson, born in Lund, Sweden, on February
24th, 1974 at 14:43. I've lived in that very same town for almost
all of my life. The only exceptions are holidays (of course), a half
year's stay in Iran in 1977 (which only taught me one thing, that
7Up (TM) tastes good :) and another half year's stay in Mannheim,
Germany, in 1996, where I studied at the university and, hopefully,
learnt more stuff than I had in Iran...
Nowadays, I live in Södertälje, a city just south of the Swedish capital
Stockholm. There I've begun working at the medical company AstraZeneca,
where I work as a systems developer. Previously, I studied Informatics
at the University of Lund, and I finished those studies in 2001. Aside
from Informatics, which was my major subject, I also studied Economics,
English, History, Statistics and some Law. In 1998, I attended a course
called Master of European Affairs, and believe it or not, I did enjoy
that...
So, for those of you who got this far (yawn), this is the *real* me.
I'm a big music fan, and I like to listen to most kinds of music
providing it's good :) (Oh, you want to know *what* good music is?)
Check out my music page, and you'll get a hunch. For those of you with
too little time on their hands, I'm an advocate for 60s music,
but I like most songs with a melody (good lyrics are a plus).
I am also a heavy reader, reading almost anything except what goes
for "good" literature. That's right, you will probably not find me
reading those Strindbergs, Balzacs or Goethes. No, what I enjoy is
a good mystery, some exciting fantasy tale or plain old superhero
comics.
Another hobby of mine is watching football (soccer for you with
impaired language abilities ;). My home team is Lunds BK, and I go
to almost every home game if I'm at home. I also like those Scanian
teams that are in Allsvenskan (equivalent of the Premier League,
Bundesliga or whatever). When there's sport on the telly, you
can probably find me sitting in front of the telly.
Yet another side of me is the computer freak. I enjoy playing games
(Broken Sword, Heroes of Might and Magic II, Civilization II, etc.),
browsing the Web and participating in different newsgroups on the
Usenet.
