Concerning
the ability to use a ‘GPS-device’ together with this program (or this
version) I don’t know. I know that there are a lot of possibilities to buy
this type of device if one has a thick wallet.
An other
problem with this (version) of the program is that the ‘print’ function
doesn’t work (at least not for me). There is a possibility to print maps any
how by using the ‘print screen’ button and insert it into a image/photo-program
and print from there.
We have
also experienced that on a few computers (on Svalbard) the date functions for
the tides couldn’t be changed properly.
Below to
the left, we have clicked with the right mouse button on the red symbol and got
up information about a harbour (your place, Frits?).
Below to
the right, we have clicked on the symbol for tide-stations so the pink diamonds
has appeared. Then we click on a certain diamond with the right mouse button we
got up tide data for this area. We can change date to see data for tides (and
light conditions) on an arbitrary day.
