How to install C-map:
You simply
put in the CD-drive.
Find the
CD-drive and double click on this object.
Find the
object Setup (.exe) and double click.
Answer all
question and precede….. You can
now start the program from ‘programs’
IMPORTANT: (If
you don’t see any maps (just grey) after installation)
Normally
your CD-drive has a ‘name’ such as D or E…..
The program
has however pre chosed the ‘name’ to be ‘?’.
So if this
is not the case on your computer, (you see this in ‘this computer’) you have to
change this.
You do this
by finding the file: ‘Cm93view (.ini)’ and open it in a text editor such as
‘notepad’.
Now you can
see (*) the code and on line number 2,3 and 4 you should change the ‘name’.
For example
if your drive is D then you shift to ‘d’ on this three lines.
Then you
save this file again.
Now it
should work!
But remember, you are not supposed to lose your boat if you lose your mouse, so bring map and compass!
