was born and
raised in Norway but have
been based in Sweden since 2001. My
educational background is in IT, administration,
tourism, and languages. I am working fulltime as a freelance
translator and really enjoy my work.
As a freelance translator, I understand the importance of being flexible in order to satisfy the needs of clients. I always try to be available for translations at short notice, but require a reasonable amount of
time to ensure quality and accuracy of translation.
I am not prepared
to compromise on quality, so I concentrate on subjects that I know well – IT/Computers/IGL,
Travel and Tourism, Media and Publications, Automotive and Transport and General
Business/Commerce. For translation of documents where I am not competent, I either turn down the job or, with the agreement of the
client, pass it to another
translator who is competent in that particular subject.
