Advanced settings In
this dialog you can find more and advanced settings that are new
in Tetra blocks v1.5 and later. This gives you the possibility to
easy alter the way Tetra Blocks appears and functions. Changes of
settings in this dialog immediatly effect the game play.
Skins: In
this list you may select a package of graphics and audio. The skin
"Original" is the default appearance of Tetra Blocks.
All other is custom skins. Tetra Blocks is not delivered with any
custom skins so the only alternative will be "Original"
when newly installed. Go to the Skin section
for information about how to download more skins and how to do
your own.
Fullscreen
display mode: In this list you have the possibility to choose
a desired fullscreen mode. The resolution is always fixed at 640 x
480. The variables are what bit depth you desire and at what
frequency you want.
Drop speed: In
this group it's possible to configure how fast the pieces will
scroll down when the down key is pressed. This setting consists of
two types to be as flexible as possible.
First there is the
scrollbar. Here you set the time in milliseconds that most pass
between every down movement. Second
there are a couple of radio button that decides at which magnitude
every down movement will be. Magnitude is measured in pixels.
Left preview,
Left preview: This checkboxes decides if the prewiev frame
should be shown for each player.
Left statistics,
Right statistics: This checkboxes decides if the statistics
should be shown for each player.
Individual
quakes: If quakes are enabled. This setting decides if the
whole screen shall quake or just the half of the screen belonging
to the player that caused the quakes.
Counting up
score: This is just a cosmetic effect that makes your scores
count up.
Scrolling
pieces: In Tetra Blocks v1.5 and later the pieces scrolls
smoothly down. If you want it the way it was before where the
pieces moved one block at the time then uncheck this checkbox.
