Whith an incredible height of 7-foot-7 (232cm), Muresan makes a great power source for the WASHINGTON BULLETS. Ghita as he also is called was born on February the 14-th, 1971 in Romania. He went to college at Cluj University which is situated in Transylvania in northern Romania.

If you ever wondered where Ghita got his size from, I can tell you that it doesnt run in the familly. His father is 5-foot9 (180cm) and his late mother was 5-foot-7(170cm). The real reason why he is so tall is becouse of a pituitary gland condition. If you dont know what that means, look it up in a dictionary!


Muresans pro career started in Europe, France, for a team called Pau Ortez. The first season in the French League he averaged 18.7pts., 10.3reb., and 2.8Blk.. Muresan also played for the Romanian national team. His career highlights with the national team are 42pts. in a won game against Sweden in 1992 and averaging 23,4 points and 11,4 rebounds during the 1991 Junior World Championship in Edmonton, Canada.
