Wellcome to my site!

In my site I present the result of my genealogycal research and description av some parishes where my anscestors lived. Because my surname is after the soldier Gustaf Ström, it has been a great pleasure to me to write about the old Swedish military system and Kungliga Första Livgrenadjärregementet (the Royal First Lifegrenadier Regiment) where he served.

An interesting part of my site is the story of Gustaf Ström's father, soldier Sven Planck Wallpol. The story is based on Sven's diary. Other parts of the site is about Swedish history among other things.
