Wellcome to my genealogical site!
| Here I present my genealogycal table of my family. My roots are mainly from the province of Östergötland and the north of Småland. I try to find out the living conditions of my ancestors, heir destiny and the places where they lived. My grandfather on my fathers line, David Ström, was born in 1893 in Brommetorp, a croft under the manor of Bjärka Säby. It was my great great grandfather, soldier Gustaf Ström, who moved to Bjärka Säby from Ulrika parish. Gustafs father, Sven Planck Wallpol, was also a solder, and among other things he was a captive in the Napoleonic wars. I have written a story about his life that I hope you will read and enjoy. The story is based on his diary from 1810 and other sources. In my site I also present Bjärka Säby manor and some of the parishes where my ancestors lived. |
